Mike is from Indianapolis, Indiana. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from DePauw University in 1989 and a Masters Degree in Sport Marketing Management from Indiana University in 1991. Mike worked for six years at Indiana Sports Corporation in Indianapolis where he worked on numerous ISC Events including the NCAA Final Four, U.S. Olympic Congress, U.S. Olympic Basketball Exhibitions, the Hoosier State Games and the RCA Tennis Championships. For the past 13 years, Mike has developed, directed, and managed elite basketball camps, tournaments, and all-star games in the U.S. and abroad for Nike Basketball and the Jordan Brand. He has conducted elite events on five continents and has worked with the world’s top collegiate, NBA & international coaches. Players such as Yao Ming, Pau Gasol, Tony Parker, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudemire and Kevin Durant have gone from his events to the NBA. In his current role as Director of Elite Youth Programming, Mike develops and implements innovative strategies to market the Nike brand to the elite global basketball community and works with the world’s leading basketball organizations (NBA, FIBA, NCAA, USA Basketball, Euroleague, etc.) on various projects, events and initiatives.
