Devdeep Aikath conducts teaching and research in the domain of Business Technology and Analytics (BTA), where data is utilized to make better business decisions. In addition to teaching courses in the BTA undergraduate degree program, he teaches analytics courses in the undergraduate and graduate finance and management programs.
Devdeep started his career in Internal Medicine, receiving his MBBS from the University of Calcutta in India. Subsequently he moved into Cognitive Psychology/Systems Neuroscience, receiving his PhD from the University of Oregon for his work on navigational learning and memory. He is also an alumnus of the Portland State University MBA program with dual specialization in Finance and Business Intelligence and Analytics.
Devdeep brings analytics experience from his research and industry backgrounds, having worked at Epic Systems and Intel Finance where he was involved in developing predictive models. He is also a certified professional coach, specializing in the area of career and life transitions, and a Project Management Professional.
Devdeep enjoys traveling whenever he can fit it in, and is an avid people and nature photo/videographer.
