Dr. Stanton Heister’s education includes: Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from University of Michigan; Masters of Business Administration from University of Portland and Doctorate of Business Administration – International Business from Argosy University.
Dr. Heister was an Assistant Professor of Management at Colorado Mesa University from 2012-2017. Dr Heister has also taught at DeVry University and Keller Business School of Management. He currently teaches in The School of Business at Portland State University.

Prior to obtaining his Doctorate, Dr. Heister worked and has extensive experience in commercial business and has traveled to over 25 countries as a part of his management and consulting career. During his career, Dr. Heister has developed many skills and been exposed to a variety of roles including:
Product Marketing Management, Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting, Marketing Research/Strategy, Managing the deployment and delivery of training in an international setting, earning metrics dashboard and analysis, Manufacturing Production Supervision and Process Control, Project management of large IT projects using Life Cycle Methodology tools/processes, Led major sales planning strategy/execution events worldwide & trained sales teams on sales execution with large international companies in industries such as Manufacturing, Telecommunication, Banking/Financial, Retail, Travel and Transportation etc.
Dr. Heister's teaching approach includes bringing his vast experience in the classroom to help turn theory into practice which improves the interest level and earning outcomes of his students. Dr. Heister has extensive experience with the Millennial Generation, having written his dissertation on the subject in 2015.
Dr. Heister has spoken at many professional, industry and academic events including Blockchain Meetups, Financial Executives International (FEI), Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants, Techfest NorthWest, SimbaChain Blockchain Education and Training Webinar, Blockchain Podcasts, Academic Conferences etc.
