The School of Business provides professional advisors to help you with academic and career counseling. Advisors are available to assist with university general education and degree requirements, explore career paths, course planning, assist with academic standing issues and petitions.

Mentor Programs

Students within The School of Business have exclusive access to a portfolio of mentoring opportunities, from professionals to faculty to peers.



The School of Business offers free drop-in tutoring to business students online via Zoom. When in-person classes resume, in-person tutoring in KMC 490 will reopen.


Business Honors

Each year, we welcome a new cohort of high-performing, dedicated students. As a member of this two-year program, you’ll dive into your core businesses courses in an intellectually enriching setting where you are free to experience and explore.



The Atmos program (previously Pathways) supports diverse and underrepresented minority business students of color and is a promise of academic and community support to help create an avenue for a brighter future.

Student Groups & Organizations

Who you know in the field will help you get your foot in the door. Your experience outside of the classroom will make your resume stand out from other applicants. Recruiters look for students with Student Org experience and will want to talk with you. 


Summer Business Institute

The Portland State University Summer Business Institute is a unique opportunity for high school students to explore the world of business with PSU business faculty and local business leaders.
