Colleen Lee is the Director of Marketing for The School of Business at Portland State University, where she leads a high-performing team in developing and implementing integrated marketing strategies that advance the school’s reputation and drive enrollment and retention outcomes.

Since joining PSU in 2022, Colleen has brought extensive experience from two previous universities, as well as senior marketing roles across private and nonprofit sectors. With more than 20 years of marketing leadership, she is deeply committed to a data-informed approach that supports strong, evidence-based decision-making. She places high value on fostering meaningful relationships within PSU and the broader business and academic communities.

Colleen’s creative and strategic work has been recognized with ten national and international marketing awards. Most recently, she earned five honors for The School of Business at PSU: a Platinum dotCOMM Award for NOW BOARDING: Business Class; Platinum and Gold MarCom (AMCP) Awards for the Do Business Like a Vik campaign; Gold MarCom (AMCP) Awards for NOW BOARDING: Business Class and All-Campus Bow-Wow; and another Gold MarCom (AMCP) Award for the Business Bow-Wow social media campaign.

Colleen holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Northern Michigan University, a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Idaho, and certificates in project management and digital and media studies from San Diego State University.
