Kerry Sharp is an adjunct business instructor at Portland State University. He has been teaching at the MBA level since 2002, with emphasis on coursework in Competitive Strategy and Finance. In addition to his work at PSU, Kerry has taught in the MBA program at Marylhurst University, and has lectured in the Oregon Executive MBA (OEMBA) program.
Kerry has extensive professional experience in the fields of strategy, finance and operational effectiveness. He has held executive positions in large corporations in the financial services and the forest products industries; he's been on leadership teams in smaller entrepreneurial settings; and he's also worked in the consulting field, with both large global consulting firms as well as smaller regional firms. Kerry holds an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
