She often applies these areas of research to the study of sustainable business. One of her recent research projects examines the development and growth of the wind and solar energy sectors across the U.S. Through this work, she investigates how the organization of entrepreneurial firms, the strength of the environmental social movement and the position of electric utilities collectively influence the development and growth of these sectors.
In addition, Professor Pacheco has experience teaching courses in the areas of strategic management, environmental studies, and entrepreneurship.
