Jeanne Enders is a Social and Organizational Psychologist teaching in both the undergraduate and graduate programs in the School of Business at Portland State. She earned her bachelors' degrees in psychology and German literature from Pacific Lutheran University, studied psychology at the Karl-Franzens University in Graz, Austria and finished her masters and doctoral degrees at the University of Chicago in Social and Organizational psychology in 1997. She has worked at Portland State since 1998 serving as an adjunct faculty member, fixed-term assistant professor, associate dean of undergraduate programs, executive director of SBA online initiatives and now, again as assistant professor in the management area in the School of Business.
Her areas of interest include the umbrella concepts of meaning and happiness in work settings and innovation in work organizations and in teaching/learning. Her current research examines the life narratives of regional ethics award winners and the role of ePortfolio development in student identify formation.
