Jeanne Enders is a Social and Organizational Psychologist teaching in both the undergraduate and graduate programs in the School of Business at Portland State.  She studied psychology and German literature in Germany and Austria and finished her masters and doctoral degrees at the University of Chicago in Social and Organizational psychology.  At Portland State Jeanne has served in several roles: as an adjunct faculty member, fixed-term assistant professor, associate dean of undergraduate programs, executive director of the School of Business online initiatives and now, again as assistant professor in the management area in the School of Business. 

Jeanne’s areas of interest include the umbrella concepts of meaning and happiness in work settings and innovation in work organizations and in teaching/learning.  She consults with her husband, Albrecht Enders, in innovation process and teams.  Her current research examines the life narratives of regional ethics award winners and the role of “folio thinking” and purpose in leadership identity formation.
