Dr. Shin earned his Ph.D. in Management from Texas A&M University. His main research interests are creativity in the workplace, team creativity and diversity, leadership, human side of Mergers and Acquisitions, and cross-cultural studies. He has been published in Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Creative Behavior, and others. He is currently serving the editorial boards of Journal of Applied Psychology and Management and Organization Review. At Portland State University, he teaches Organizational Behavior and Global Human Resource Management.
