Brandon Reich joined the faculty at the School of Business at Portland State University as an Assistant Professor of Marketing in 2018. Prior to joining PSU, he worked as a Graduate Teaching Fellow while completing his Ph.D. in Marketing at the University of Oregon in Eugene.

Brandon’s research builds on theoretical foundations of social and personality psychology to develop an understanding of ideological consumption and their effects on marketplace functioning. For instance, his research investigates topics such as consumer blame processes, local food consumption, anti-corporatism, and environmentally friendly consumption and has appeared in top-level journals such as Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Consumer Psychology, Journal of Advertising, and Journal of Public Policy & Marketing.

At PSU, Brandon teaches in marketing, primarily Consumer Behavior (MKTG 363) and Marketing Management (BA 311).
