Students in Dr. Sobolewski’s prior classes note the following about his teaching:

“Prof. Sobolewski teaches some really interesting classes. I thought his class on terrorism was fantastic. His theory class was good too. Theory can get dull but he used the right amount of documentaries and lectures to get his message across well and keep us interested. I found myself walking to work, talking to myself about the difference between classical and neoclassical theory. I did that not because I had a test coming up, but because I was really thinking about the class material and wanted to really grasp it.”

“Dr. Sobolewski has a different, but very effective way of presenting his lectures. He doesn't rely much on the PowerPoint presentations he has created, but instead speaks on his knowledge of the subject. The theories taught in his classes can be confusing, but Dr. Sobolewski makes an effort to make them more understandable. He relates much of the material being taught to current events which gives some better perspective to the information being taught. Overall, Dr. Sobolewski is an excellent professor that really wants to connect with the students he teaches.”
