Find out if you're eligible for in-state tuition

Graduate students from Western states who are enrolling in qualifying programs may be eligible to earn in-state tuition through the Western Regional Graduate Program.

Review your health insurance options.

PSU requires that all domestic students enrolled in five in-load, non-restricted differential tuition credits or more per term maintain comprehensive health insurance to ensure that students stay healthy and in the classroom. The PSU Health Insurance Plan is major medical health insurance providing preventative, routine, and specialized health benefits and students are automatically enrolled and billed each term. Those who have comparable outside health insurance can apply to waive the PSU Health Insurance Plan.

Submit PSU’s COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement Form*

As a student at PSU, you are required to satisfy PSU’s COVID-19 vaccine requirement. If you DO NOT fulfill this requirement a registration hold will be placed on your account prior to winter term registration. This will affect your ability to register for winter term classes.

The form will give you the option to confirm you’ve been vaccinated or request an exemption or deferral. Documentation is not needed to complete the COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement Form.

Wait to submit the form once you’ve completed a vaccine series. Schedule a COVID-19 Vaccine on campus with PSU’s Center for Student Health and Counseling. Vaccines are provided for free for all students taking one or more credits. Or you can find an off-campus COVID-19 vaccine location.

Submit proof of your measles vaccination

  • Domestic Students - Oregon law requires domestic students show evidence of immunity to measles, or provide an exception, before registering for their second term of enrollment.
  • International Students -  Oregon law requires international students show evidence of immunity to measles before their first term of enrollment.

Enroll in classes

After you have been admitted and your PSU account is activated, you will need to enroll for classes. Use your PSU ID to login to Banweb. Click on the Student Services tab and scroll down to click on "Registration and Class Schedule." From here, click on "Add/Drop Classes," select the term you'll be enrolling in, and enroll.

Get help with childcare

Visit Services for Students with Children and find parenting resources like subsidized childcare, financial assistance for parents, food pantry, lactation support, activities for children, and much more.

Attend your department’s orientation

If your graduate program is hosting an orientation, you will receive information about it from your department before your start term.
