New Student Orientation is an essential part of your college experience and provides a foundation for success.

All New Student Orientation programming is virtual at this time. Online Orientation will provide you with details about campus life, student services, and degree requirements. Completion of Online Orientation is required for all incoming undergraduate students. Completion of Online Orientation will provide you with course registration access for your first term.

*Non-degree, postbac, and graduate students are not required to complete this New Student Orientation program. There may be orientation requirements specific to your program, contact your department for more information.


Step 1: Confirm Enrollment

All newly admitted students must confirm enrollment to guarantee your spot at PSU. In order to register for New Student Orientation, you must first confirm your enrollment. If you have already confirmed your enrollment, proceed to Step 2. If you have not confirmed your enrollment, do so now.

Step 2: Sign Up for Online Orientation 

Once you have confirmed your enrollment to PSU, you can sign up to receive your link to Online Orientation. Online Orientation will provide you with details about campus life, student services, and degree requirements.

Step 3: Attend a Connect2PSU Day

Completing Online Orientation is just one step in setting yourself up for success your first term. Join fellow incoming students, Orientation Leaders, and PSU staff during a virtual Connect2PSU Day, or take part in any of the other webinar offerings designed for new students or their family members.

Step 4: Prepare for Your First Term

Once you've completed Orientation and registered from classes, you have a few more tasks to take care of before our first term at PSU, including the completion of your math placement exam, reviewing your health insurance options, and submissions of final transcripts.
