Diane Odeh


Diane L. Odeh is a Ph.D. candidate at Portland State University’s Hatfield School of Government, where her research focuses on civic engagement, social equity, administrative ethics, and organizational development. With a Master of Public Administration and a background in nonprofit leadership, Diane has dedicated her academic and professional career to advancing inclusive public service practices. Deeply engaged in community work, Diane has supported neighborhood-based civic initiatives and advised on equity-centered engagement strategies. Since 2018, she has worked with PSU’s Center for Public Service, contributing to public sector training programs and research that bridges theory and practice in local government and nonprofit organizations. Diane has been recognized with several honors, including PSU’s Presidential Award and the Walter W. Mode Scholarship for her commitment to service to her community.  Diane brings an active, community-driven approach to her work, aiming to strengthen democratic participation and build more equitable systems across public institutions.
