Mr. Bremmer brings twenty five years experience to his role as Senior Instructor faculty in University Studies at Portland State University, and developed the Multimedia Production Team capstone as one of the first capstones at PSU. In 2007 Mr. Bremmer won approval to convert the Production Team capstone to fully online, as part of the online degree completion program. His work later moved to University Studies where it continues as a primarily asynchronous course where students are taught to form groups online, embrace University Studies and PSU goals, and develop community based service projects developed digitally, online. His prior experience includes developing national FAA flight training, building and running the Art Institute of Portland Multimedia program as a department director, and consulting to businesses and organizations for digital training, development and implementation. He holds an M.A. in English, and is an experienced writer, both in technical writing and creative writing, with a published novel, Awakening in Midair. Mr. Bremmer continues to research and develop methods to advance the effectiveness and use of online training and learning.
