As EMPA Manager, Rebecca Alpert will administrate the EMPA program and student retention, from admissions through graduation, as well as maintain an EMPA alumni network. She will work with faculty, staff, consultants, students, alumni, and community partners to assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of CPS programs and projects. Prior to working at PSU, she lived in Japan for five years, having graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a bachelor's degree in food history and sustainability. In her free time she enjoys going to estate sales, petting other people's dogs, and trying new cafes.
