I am an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Biology Department where I teach the Principles of Biology Sequence (introductory survey course for majors), Neurophysiology, and Sensory Physiology. My research career was focused on molecular mechanisms of synaptic plasticity, and includes graduate training in hippocampal synaptic plasticity, postdoctoral training in molecular mechanisms of fear based learning, and research in neuroendocrine regulated mechanisms of circuit formation.
