PSU History
Joined the School of Social Work faculty in 1986, retired from full time position in 2011. Currently Research Professor of Social Work with the Regional Research Institute for Human Services.
Experience
Faculty member, administrator, and researcher with University of Kansas, Pacific University, and Portland State University.
Academic/Research Interests
Pursuing research in social sustainability, family support, and mental health of young people. Additional research focus on support of working caregivers of children and youth with disabilities.
Personal Interests
Providing assistance to organizations that focus on youth mentoring, mental health supports, and provision of social services. Avid hiker, bridge player, and reader of fiction and non-fiction.
