Claire joined the Campus Rec team as Outdoor Program Coordinator in August of 2021, but her ties to Campus Rec run deep. Claire put her experience as an outdoor guide and educator to use as an Outdoor Trip Leader while earning her master's in Leadership for Sustainability Education here at PSU. After graduating, Claire worked for Mazamas and Big City Mountaineers as a program administrator, focusing on effective education and positive culture building. She is thrilled to serve on the Wellbeing and EDI committees at Campus Rec.
Claire loves to spend time with her two energetic kiddos, her partner of over a decade, and aging pup. You can usually find her climbing, hiking, or watching way too much science fiction whenever she has any free time.
