Biography:
I am passionate about ensuring all communities have access to safe, convenient, and healthy options for active transportation. The most fulfilling work I've done was organizing youth and adult bike safety education programs in the Bay Area, including Safe Routes to School programming. This field combines my passion for biking and walking with my desire to improve the health of the communities I grew up in. I enter this program with a strong background in education, bike repair, and social theory. Outside of school, I am usually riding my bike long distances and playing Norteño music on accordion, only occasionally at the same time.
