The main entrances to the Simon Benson House, Montgomery Residence Hall and the Science Research Technology Center were fully reopened at 7:30 a.m. following a shooting that occurred near PSU's campus early Tuesday morning in the 900 block of SW Montgomery Street. All classes are held as scheduled.
Portland police and PSU Campus Public Safety officers arrived and located a person lying on the ground. Medical personnel determined the person was deceased. The victim in the shooting was not a PSU student.
