Join CORE, the first-year program of the School of Art + Design, for the end-of-the-term Art Walk celebration. Bringing together all CORE classes for this final event, attendees will witness some amazing work by our CORE community. On display at our exhibit will be some incredible videos, animations, sculptures, 2D projects, and more.

Our event will kick off at 12:30 pm on June 7th in the Fariborz Maseeh Hall in the CORE classrooms on the second floor. We will have an array of work from our Surface, Space, Time, Digital Tools, and Ideation Classes. There will be snacks and beverages. Please join us in celebrating all the hard work of our CORE student body.

What is Core?

Core is at the heart of the School of Art + Design's Art Practice program. It is designed for freshmen and transfer students who are beginning their art education and also serves Art Practice minors and Art History students. It is a year-long group of six courses that foster excitement for the diverse ways to engage in creative life and provides learning situations that open up those possibilities.
