Biography:
Valeria is a second-year student in the Master of Urban and Regional Planning program. Her background in community development has led her to follow her passion of approaching planning through a community-led approach. Her interests include utilizing planning to fight for resiliency, social justice, and equity for communities of color, in the transportation field. She is particularly interested in active transportation and the intersectionality of design in the natural and built environment.
