Professional Scope
As Senior Fiscal Officer for Student Affairs, Tiah is an accomplished higher education finance leader with over 20 years of dedicated service at Portland State University.
In her role, Tiah provides strategic financial oversight for several key student affairs departments, including:
- Dean of Student Life (DOSL)
- University Housing & Residence Life (UHRL)
- Student Activities & Leadership Programs (SALP)
- Student Health & Counseling (SHAC)
- Campus Recreation
- Office of Global Engagement & Inclusion (OGEI)
She also serves as the contract administrator for the University Food Service contract.
Known for her collaborative approach and belief that "everything is a learning opportunity," Tiah excels at translating complex financial concepts and budgets for non-finance professionals.
A double alumna of PSU, Tiah holds a B.S. in Economics and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy. Beyond her fiscal responsibilities, she is deeply passionate about advancing student success across campus.
