Biography:
Kim is passionate about meeting the needs of urban ecosystems and communities through holistic and equitable approaches with special interest in urban conservation, greenspaces, climate resiliency, active transportation, placemaking, and community engagement. She has previously worked at Portland Audubon as an Environmental Educator, Natural Resource Specialist at the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, Equitable Access Program Assistant at Tualatin Riverkeepers, and now works part time as an Outreach Assistant for the Portland Water Bureau. She believes in the power of thoughtful, equitable urban planning, science & traditional ecological knowledge, and community resiliency to face today's pressing challenges to see a hopeful, vibrant future for her daughter, the next generations, and our planet.
