Gary Farnsworth is a senior fellow at the Center for Public Service (CPS) at Portland State University (PSU); while serving as an Owner’s Representative for the Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council (COIC). He is a proven leader with 30+ years of practical experience in public & community engagement, collaborative decision-making, consensus-building, and conflict resolution. He is passionate about wellness and safety, teamwork, collaboration, and leadership development, all for public service. Gary’s career highlights with Washington and Oregon Departments of Transportation (WSDOT and ODOT) are capped off by serving 6 years as ODOT Region 4 Manager.
