Dayln is a seasoned professional with a proven track record in academic program coordination. He began his career in 2015 as a special programs coordinator at Oregon State University, where he helped create unique programs for international students to study abroad on their own terms and according to their specific needs. Since then, he has played a key role in the development and success of several other international programs here within Oregon, including ones at the University of Oregon, Willamette University and even right here at PSU.
Driven by a desire to help others achieve success in their pursuits, Dayln is passionate about program creation and facilitation. As a nontraditional college graduate who has faced the challenges of balancing life and work with higher education, he understands the need for guidance and support in navigating the complexities of academia, as well as the importance of tailored programs that meet the diverse needs of students. He is committed to ensuring that each and every student he serves feels supported and has the opportunities they need to succeed.
Prior to joining PSU, he spent several years working in Japan, where he developed an academic background in Marketing and Brand Creation and became interested in learning about new ways people and companies are finding business opportunities through digital media. He also has professional experience in outdoor event coordination, including marathons, triathlons, cycling and more.
