Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) has recently released their 2025 list of Top Design Schools and the Schnitzer School of Art + Art History + Design’s Graphic Design program has once again made the list.
PSU Graphic Design has been among the top fifty graphic design programs selected by GDUSA since 2022, making this the fourth year in a row the program has retained its position. GDUSA describes the programs and schools chosen for the list as those that excel in “both the hard and soft skills necessary for success in the ever-evolving world of design. These institutions don’t just teach design; they nurture talent, expand minds, and prepare the next generation of creatives for impactful careers in the real world.”
In addition to ranking in the GDUSA’s Top Design Schools, PSU Graphic Design has also consistently remained in the top of the Animation Career Review rankings since 2020, earning a spot on several of their rankings lists, coming in at number 34 for the national rankings and at number 14 amongst the top public programs on the 2024 Graphic Design School Rankings.
Next year, in Fall 2026, the PSU Graphic Design program, along with the rest of the programs housed within the Schnitzer School of Art + Art History + Design, will be moving into a brand new building, which will open up myriad additional opportunities and resources for students pursuing graphic design and the visual arts at PSU.
