Fresh off a competitive scrimmage in Vancouver, where kicker Joshua Hossman Lees hit a 51-yard field goal to tie the game, the Vikings return home on Saturday, May 9. The Spring Game at Stott Community Field features an 11 a.m. tailgate with food and music, followed by a 1 p.m. kickoff with bleacher seating for 1,000 Viking fans.

Through hands-on partnerships with local arts groups like the Fertile Ground Festival and Profile Theatre, PSU Theater Arts students gain professional experience in technical design, production management, and stagecraft. These real-world connections bridge the classroom and Portland’s arts economy, launching creative careers.

Portland State and Southern Oregon University have launched a new collaboration focused on water, fire, and climate. Following a joint workshop held in March in Ashland, the coalition aims to strengthen statewide climate efforts through shared research, quarterly webinars, and new pathways for students to pursue graduate degrees.
