Biography:
Valah earned a B.A. in English and a B.S. in Liberal Studies from Portland State University, an M.A. in English from James Madison University, and her PhD. in English and the Teaching of English from Idaho State University. She is happily married to a fellow English PhD, and together they have a menagerie of pets. She is also an as-yet-unpublished aspiring writer.
