Starr is in her second year of the PSU-OHSU dual-degree MSW/MPH program, studying clinical social work and public health. She will be at SHAC for the 2026-2027 school year. Before starting advanced education in mental health and health systems, she worked in public health and human services roles while pursuing her passion for the performing arts. She has been a performer and instructor of improv for many years, and continues to as time allows.
Starr was raised in the rural Midwest, lived several years in Los Angeles, and now calls Portland home. Starr enjoys taking in live performances, tending her worm bin, revitalizing soil and unwinding with partner, pets & plants.
