Nora is the Mycologist on the Botany team for the Oregon Biodiversity Information Center at INR. She completed her PhD at the University of Wisconsin–Madison in the Botany Department, where she focused on Fungal biology in response to global change, invasive species, and fungal conservation. At INR, she works with rare plants and fungi, developing species accounts for species of conservation concern, and is responsible for maintaining the plant, lichen, and fungi rare species databases. In her spare time she can be found hunting for mushrooms and spending time with her family.
