As a student organization advisor with Student Activities & Leadership Programs (SALP), Maggie Burks (she/they) supports student leaders to navigate university processes and to share their passions with the PSU community. Maggie advises STEM-focused and identity-based student organizations at PSU.

 

Maggie earned their master's degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Colorado State University because they aim to humanize the higher education experience and help students feel supported, empowered, and respected throughout their time in college. She has worked across the spectrum of student affairs including as an admissions advisor, conflict resolution coach, retreat coordinator for the Pride Resource Center at CSU, and academic advisor. They are excited to bring their experiences to PSU, and continue to learn and grow with the PSU community.

 

Maggie is a bus rider, board game player, playlist curator, lavender latte lover, cat parent, and pub trivia enthusiast.
