As Coordinator of Student Government Relations and Advisor to Greek Life, Madeline Frisk (she/her) provides support primarily to student leaders within ASPSU, PSU’s student government and the community of fraternities and sororities at Portland State University. Madeline has worked at PSU since 2021 and is a proud alumni of the institution as well.
Madeline is a former navy brat who is from all over and this has shaped how she is able to adapt to new challenges and think broadly about how student leaders will continue to impact the communities around them after they graduate. She looks forward to continuing to learn and grow as a student affairs professional.
Prior to working at PSU, Madeline was an active student leader in fraternity and sorority life at Oregon State University as an undergraduate student serving as recruitment chair and chapter president for the local design-focused sorority, Chi Theta Phi of which she is an alumna member. Later, when she was in graduate school at PSU she got involved with ASPSU as both a senator and an Academic Affairs Director.
In her free time Madeline loves to find new areas to explore and walk around Portland, read books from the local library, go thrift/vintage shopping (she loves finding vintage PSU gear), watch spooky movies, and spend time with her family, friends, and her dog Prescott.
