Professional Scope
As the Director of the Office of International Student and Scholar Services (OISSS) in OGEI, I work with a variety of nonimmigrants, especially F-1 and J-1 Students to understand the rules and restrictions governing their stay in the U.S. I also work with faculty and staff who advise and support students, scholars, and employees during their time at PSU.
I began working at Portland State University in August 2004, and have held a variety of roles in OISSS, including the Program Coordinator role, International Student & SEVIS Advisor, and Assistant Director. I became the Director of OISSS in July 2026.
