Biography:
I became interested in land use and transportation when I moved to Tigard, Oregon about 10 years ago from Portland and discovered a patchwork network of sidewalks, trails, bicycle lanes, and inefficient access to public transit. This led me to asking questions at City Hall. From there I was advised to apply to the Tigard Transportation Advisory Committee. I spent about 6 years working with the City of Tigard on their complete streets program, transportation system plan, safe routes to school, and SW Corridor Light Rail initiatives. I also volunteered on the Fanno Creek Advisory Committee and other various regional and city planning projects including attending public meetings about the SW Corridor Light Rail project. For the last year I have been a voting member of the Tigard Planning Commission.
