Grace Arnold is an Assistant Professor in the Economics Department at Portland State University. She completed her doctorate in economics from Louisiana State University in 2018 and joined the department the same year. Grace is an applied microeconomist with a specialization in health and labor economics.

Her teaching fields are primarily in undergraduate courses and has taught Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, and Health Care Economics. Her research examines the impact of public policy on health and labor outcomes.  She has presented her research at conferences such as the Southern Economic Association Annual Meeting as well as the American Society of Health Economists. She also serves in the department as an advisor for undergraduate students.
