Dr. Ehsan Aryafar is an Associate Professor of Computer Science in the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science at Portland State University. Prior to joining PSU, from 2013 to 2017, he was a Research Scientist at Intel Labs in Santa Clara, CA. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Iran, in 2005, and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University, Houston, Texas, in 2007 and 2011, respectively. From 2011 to 2013, he was a PostDoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Princeton University. His research interests are in the areas of wireless networks and networked systems, and span both algorithm design as well as system prototyping. He has more than 30 patents in the areas of mobile and wireless systems. He is a recipient of 2020 NSF CAREER award.
