Originally from Chicago, Illinois, I grew up in both Northern Arizona (Flagstaff) and Charlotte, North Carolina, where I ultimately began my career in higher education administration. Over a 15-year period, I held various positions at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte including roles in the Registrar’s Office, Graduate Admissions, Graduate Student Affairs, and, most recently, in Graduate Student Academic Affairs.
I joined Portland State University in May 2025 as one of five newly created Academic Service Coordinator (ASC) positions in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. In this role, I will oversee the course schedule and curricular offerings across multiple academic units within CLAS.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking with my dog, hanging out with friends, visiting historical sites, and exploring Indigenous and Native American literature. I hold a Master’s degree of Native American Studies from the University of New Mexico as well as a Master’s of Adult Education from East Carolina University.
