Professor Cruikshank is a part-time instructor and currently works at Ampere Computing. His professional career spans more than 35 years in multiple companies and roles. He started with FPGA design for Image Processing Technologies, and later switched to ASIC design at Mindspeed Technologies, STMicroelectronics, Marvell Semiconductor, Intel, and now Ampere Computing. There he works in designing the fastest Arm-based server processors available using RTL2GDS flows. He enjoys passing on his industry knowledge to students and getting them ready for their future endeavors.
