Amy Mulkerin joined PSU in February 2021 as Vice Provost for Academic Budget and Planning. Amy has spent her career providing strategic financial leadership in a mission-driven context. She enjoys developing processes that align the use of financial resources with the delivery of the University’s mission and strategy. As Vice Provost for Academic Budget and Planning, she oversees the strategic budget management of the units within Academic Affairs.
Prior to PSU, Amy was the Senior Director of International Finance at Mercy Corps (now called Prosper Global) and oversaw budgeting, financial reporting, grants management, and donor relations for programs in over 40 countries.
Together with other members of PSU’s Academic Budget & Planning team, Amy helps lead the process of making budget allocation decisions across the units that make up Academic Affairs, design resource strategies that provide the foundation for fiscal health at PSU, empower units to build their programs, provide strong managerial incentives, coordinate resources, and implement major institutional strategies.
