Alison manages public-university partnerships for INR. She currently manages the USGS-PSU Partnership (UPP), a collaboration with the US Geological Survey's Oregon Water Science Center (ORWSC). In this role, she helps catalyze joint research projects, develop student research opportunities, and break down administrative barriers to create a model university-public agency partnership. Prior to joining PSU, her career included many different positions, from 7th grade science teacher to upstream public health leader. The bulk of her career, however, has been spent developing partnerships and sustainability solutions for the public, private and non-profit sectors. On weekends you can usually find Alison enjoying the great outdoors, reading a mystery novel, backyard birdwatching, or plotting her next travel adventure.
