The Portland State Vanguard’s timely, relevant, and thought-provoking coverage of the recent Millar Library protest has garnered attention from local, national, and international news organizations. Vanguard staff have been interviewed about the protest and their work by The Daily Beast, OPB’s Think Out Loud program, CNN International, the Reuters Institute, Willamette Week, and KOIN.

In recognition of their achievements this year, the Vanguard won 26 awards at the Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association Collegiate Newspaper Contest, as well as Student Organization of the Year at the Student Activities and Leadership Programs’ SALPies Awards.
