To become a qualified and licensed architect, specific requirements must be met. The Oregon Board of Architect Examiners (OSBAE) is the agency in Oregon charged with protecting public health, safety, and welfare by ensuring individuals meet the requirements of practicing architecture before registering or renewing them.

This Fridays@4, three board members of OSBAE and a representative from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and the American Institute of Architects Oregon (AIA) have been invited to join the discussion, which will include time for Q&A. If you would like to submit a question to the Board before the event, please email mari.karnowski@osbae.oregon.gov. For more information, visit the OSBAE website

What is Fridays@4?
On most Fridays at 4 pm during the academic term, PSU School of Architecture students and faculty gather to hear from professional designers and architects, academics, visiting artists, innovators, and students in the program. Fridays@4 is a perfect way to wrap up each week of intense creativity in the studio and get inspired for the productive weekend ahead.

Free and Open to the public. All are welcome.
