Viewing of Vanport with Comments by Franz Rad

This is the kickoff event for our 50 years of engineering at Maseeh College. We're screening OPB's hour-long documentary about the Vanport flood of the 40's that dramatically affected the genesis of PSU and Maseeh. Before the viewing, Dr. Franz Rad, Professor Emeritus and Founding Chair of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, will be sharing some insights and perspectives on how engineering was established at PSU  and his 50+ career at PSU.  Popcorn and candy provided.
