Show & Tell Design Lecture Series welcomes Ron Bronson

Ron Bronson has spent his career working on projects to improve digital services for governments, and is a global speaker and researcher examining the ways emergent technology erodes civic trust in daily life. He currently serves as Director of Design at 18F and as a part-time faculty member at the University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture & Urban Planning. Ron’s recent public design exhibitions include “A Parliament of Neighbors” (2023) at the Chimaera Kunsthalle where he asked participants to reimagine governance from the community level and contemplate “who is a neighbor?”. His participatory speculative design exhibit “The Designer’s Share of the Problem” debuted at the 2022 Portland Design Festival. Ron has presented at design and technology conferences globally, including An Event Apart, Confab, Code for America Summit, Service Design Network Global Conference, Civic Design, UXR Toronto, Pixel Up Cape Town, and IxDA Oslo.
