Residual Moments | Archiving The Building: The 5th Avenue Years

12:00 AM - 12:00 AM, January 5th - February 25th 2026

An exhibition created and curated by our Creative Archiving class, taught by Lis Charman and Lo Moran.

This spring, the Schnitzer School of Art + Art History + Design will leave its home of nearly 25 years and move to a new space on the Park Blocks. This Creative Archiving class and exhibition responds to that transition by creating Residual Moments, a living archive and exhibition in the MK Gallery that reflects on what has happened here and considers what we choose to remember and carry forward.

Join us in celebrating the work our Creative Archiving students have done this term. Gathering together and talking about our memories and experiences in the Art Building and Art Annex keeps the spirit of this place well and alive as we transition to our new art building. To move on, we must cherish and remember all that our current buildings have given to us before they turn to rubble.
