PSU Textile Arts Workshop | Textile Trash: The Art of Sustainability and Salvage Sewing

PSU Textile Arts welcomes Isabella Diorio to share her work in sustainable fashion.

Isabella Diorio is a sustainable fashion designer featured in the CLOTH, Construct, CULTURE: fashion builds a story at the Parallax Art Center. This sustainability workshop combines nontraditional fabric techniques with upcycling and zero waste patterning strategies incorporated in her thesis collection, F.E.T., an eco-conscious homage to female service members. This hands-on workshop will be live-streamed from the Sewing Lab at Portland State University. Feel free to bring plastic grocery bags and a t-shirt or button-up of your choice to join in or just come watch!
