Join the Institute for Asian Studies for a night of breathtaking dance by the Daejeon Metropolitan Dance Theater from Daejeon, South Korea, which has been a sister city of Seattle since 1989. The Dance Theater has grown with the city for 36 years and established itself as a representative dance troupe of Korea after an era of expressing the dynamism hidden in the breath of Koreans and their passion for life. The performances will bring Korea, the United States, Koreans and Americans together to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Korea-U.S. Alliance through traditional Korean dances.

The event is free but you must reserve a spot through the Eventbrite webpage as space is limited.

This performance is sponsored by the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Seattle.
